Operating a fleet in excess of 30 aircraft, Gulf Air is Bahrain and Oman's national carrier, providing flights since 1950 to destinations across Europe, the Middle East, Africa Asia and Australasia.
As with other Middle Eastern operators the quality of service is a critical factor for Gulf Air, and they pride themselves on have a multi-lingual staff, able to communicate effectively with people of every nationality. Factors such as this are important to travellers, all of whom wish to have a stress free journey. Catering for the different needs of the passenger this way it is clear that Gulf Air are very much customer-focused, which can only be a good thing for their passengers.
The Gulf Air aircraft are primarily Airbus, with a small number of Boeings too. The average age of the fleet is just under 11 years at the moment, and the airline does invest heavily in upgrading the craft regularly, so this average age will certainly reduce.
